Fabolous & Pusha T Announce Life Is So Exciting Tour

Fabolous & Pusha T have teamed up with MTV Jams to co-headline The Life Is So Exciting Tour. Check out the tour dates below.

MTV Jams, the only channel dedicated exclusively to hip hop music and culture, today announced that its recruited two of Def Jam’s hottest artists join forces this spring as “MTV Jams Presents Fabolous & Pusha T: The ‘Life Is So Exciting’ Tour.”  The 6-week, 30-city tour of the U.S. and Canada opens April 24th at Lupo’s Heartbreak Hotel in Providence, and wraps up at Marquee in Oshawa, Ontario on June 1st.  The ‘Life Is So Exciting’ Tour takes its name from Fab and Pusha T’s collaboration from the acclaimed Soul Tape II. This marks the latest in a series of high profile tours presented by MTV Jams. For information on tour dates, tickets and more, check out Jams.MTV.com.

Both Fabolous (Fabolous.MTV.com) and Pusha T (Pusha-T.MTV.com) are readying the spring releases of highly-anticipated albums: The new single from Fabolous’upcoming sixth studio album, LOSO’S WAY 2: RISE TO POWER - “Ready” featuring Chris Brown -  is taking off at Urban and Rhythm radio formats, as Pusha Tcompletes the finishing touches on his buzzworthy solo debut, MY NAME IS MY NAME

With the ‘Life Is So Exciting’ Tour, MTV continues its mission to expand and unify its hip-hop music and lifestyle programming and content across all of its multiple channels and screens under the MTV Jams brand name.  The move extended the MTV Jams brand from a 24-hour digital channel to touch all MTV properties including MTV, MTV2 and MTV.com, providing fans unparalleled access to hip hop music, lifestyle, fashion and culture.  Fans will be provided with exclusive behind-the-scenes content and access to the ‘Life Is So Exciting’ Tour, as MTV Jams promotes the tour via promotional spots airing across various MTV channels, as well as digital support on MTV’s various editorial sites including Rapfix, Buzzworthy and MTV News.

MTV has actively featured both artists across its multiple channels and screens. Fobolous has appeared on Campus Invasion, Spring Break, and MTV New Year’s Eve, while Pusha T performed on the inaugural MTV Jams stage during the 2013 mtvU Woodies Awards and Festival. MTV will be providing extensive coverage of the forthcoming tour on MTV2’s “The Week in Jams” and “What’s Good”. The ‘Life Is So Exciting’ Tour is MTV Jams’ third excursion on the road, following the Trey Songz ‘Chapter V World Tour’ featuring Miguel and Elle Varner and Tyga's "Closer to my Dreams" tour with various guests. For more information on all the artists mentioned, check out Artists.MTV.

LOSO’S WAY 2: RISE TO POWER is Fab’s long-awaited follow-up to Loso’s Way, the first #1 Soundscan debut of his career, which entered the Billboard 200 albums chart at #1 in August 2009.  Loso’s Way, the second Def Jam album by original Desert Storm artist Fab (and his fifth studio album overall), provided an intimate glimpse into the rise of the Brooklyn-born rapper, exploring the perils that came with managing the transition from Bed-Stuy street life to one of legitimacy.  The first single,“Throw It In The Bag” featuring The-Dream (and produced by Tricky Stewart) rose in Billboard to #2 Rap, #4 R&B, and #14 on the Hot 100.

Loso’s Way followed-up From Nothing To Something, the RIAA gold Def Jam debut album by Fabolous, released June 2007.  The album earned him the first #1 debuts of his career on Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and Top Rap Albums charts, on the strength of the RIAA platinum #1 rap/R&B/pop crossover smash “Make Me Better” featuring Ne-Yo (produced by Timbaland).  The track made headlines in 2007, when it took over the #1 Urban spot from fellow Def Jam artist Rihanna’s “Umbrella.”

After four studio albums (and at least as many mixtapes) on a wide array of indie and major labels since 1997, as one-half of the Virginia Beach-bred duo known as Clipse, and as many as two dozen featured appearances on singles and tracks by outside artists, Pusha T finally arrived at Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music/Def Jam imprint in late 2010.

Kanye’s critically acclaimed, multi-platinum My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy in November 2010, saw Pusha featured on the stand-out tracks “Runaway” and “So Appalled.”  As many as 60 featured appearances on singles and tracks by outside artists have kept Pusha busy over the past two and a half years, culminating in the smash hits “Mercy” and “Don’t Like (Remix)” from 2012’s G.O.O.D. Music compilation CRUEL SUMMER. Stay tuned for more information on Pusha T’s upcoming Def Jam solo debut, My Name Is My Name.
