Cazzettes Beam Me Up is now available on iTunes!
LOS ANGELES - TUESDAY, MAY 7 -Swedish DJ duo CAZZETTE, made up of Alexander Björklund and Sebastian Furrer, today released its massive single "Beam Me Up" on iTunes on Ash Pournouri's PRMD/4th &B'way/Island Records. "Beam Me Up," a club banger with a hard-charging kick drum, an epic vocal track and dub bass drops designed to get the party going, has been tearing up clubs worldwide, and until now, has been available exclusively on Spotify. You can download on iTunes, here.
The DJ From Mars remix of "Beam Me Up" premiered on Twitmusic.com and is currently live on the homepage. The remix also premiered on Rollingstone.com today.
Even before its iTunes release, "Beam Me Up" has been hugely successful, from being featured on last Wednesday's episode of American Idol to topping three Billboard charts: Dance Club Songs, Global Dance Songs and On-Demand Songs. The track has garnered a combined 8 million views on VEVO / YouTube and 4.4 million streams on Spotify. Watch the "Beam Me Up" video, here.
Cazzette made a huge splash in 2011 with its official remix of Avicii's "Sweet Dreams." Since then, the duo is the only group to have ever played the Ultra Music Festival's Main Stage three times in two years. Cazzette is one of the first artists to sign to visionary Pournouri's PRMD/4th &B'way/Island Records. The label's first release will be Cazzette's "EJECT" album, which was originally launched exclusively on Spotify last September. Since the launch of the campaign, Spotify reports that Cazzette music has 19.4 million streams.
With an album coming on PRMD/4th &B'way/Island Records, Cazzette is poised to become a major force in electronic music.
