TIMEFLIES TO PERFORM AT TERMINAL 5 IN NEW YORK ON APRIL 29th
(February 19, 2014 – New York, NY) New York-based duo Timeflies premiere their all-star video for “All The Way” on VEVO (Click HERE to view, Click HERE to download single), boasting an A-team roster of Extreme Sports guest stars, as the ongoing ‘Timeflies Tuesdays’ campaign drives relentlessly to the April 29th release of their debut album, AFTER HOURS, on Forty8Fifty/Island Records. Among the athletes spotted on the “All The Way” video are Anastasia Ashley (Surfer), Scotty Stephens (Moto Cross), and Mark Reininga (Snowboarder).
“All The Way” (co-produced by Benny Benassi) was released in January and is already heating up at Pop radio. In addition, it has already been featured twice on the new season of Fox’s American Idol, on an NBC promotion campaign, and in Kevin Hart's new movie About Last Night, which opened last weekend.
In support of their upcoming album, Timeflies will perform at Terminal 5 in New York on April 29th (tickets on sale this Friday, February 21st). A springtime college tour for Timeflies will be announced in the weeks ahead.
“All The Way” picks up the Timeflies momentum from 2013, when they were named “MTV Artist To Watch” and kicked off a major North American headlining tour. Timeflies issued their 4-song digital-only EP, Warning Signs, follow-up to their EP, One Night, which debuted at #1 on iTunes, and hit #2 on the Billboard Digital Songs chart. Warning Signs contained the Top 40 hit, “I Choose U,” whose video (with over 3.5 million YouTube views to date) went into rotation at MTV, MTV Hits, mtvU, and Fuse.
Cal and Rez began producing music while at college outside Boston, where they first played together in a band known as the Ride. After forming Timeflies in 2010 and releasing their first half-dozen singles, their debut album arrived in 2011, The Scotch Tape (owing to Cal’s love of scotch). A six-track sample-based mixtape titled Under The Influence was released in July 2012, followed four months later by the One Night EP.
