(April 21, 2010 - New York, NY) Mercury Records group Neon Trees takes a giant step in support of their first album, HABITS (out now), with the announcement that the band is now part of MTV’s “P.U.S.H.” Promotion, starting today and running for one week. Airings of the “Animal” video (debut single from HABITS), along with live performance and interview footage, artist i.d.’s, custom content footage and more will be featured across the MTV channels, along with blog posts on the mtv.com buzzworthy blog. Neon Trees is currently on tour with 30 Seconds To Mars.

HABITS, produced by singer/guitarist Tim Pagnotta, is in its 4th week on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart. It debuted at #2 the same week as Neon Trees’ impressive premiere performance on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live.
“Animal,” which has been heard on VH1’s Secrets of Aspen and the CW’s Melrose Place, debuted at #1 on the iTunes Alternative Specialty Chart.
Neon Trees - Tyler Glenn (lead vocals, keyboards), Chris Allen (guitars), Branden Campbell (bass), and Elaine Bradley (drums, vocals) - has its roots in Southern California, where Tyler and Chris were neighbors. The band made a triumphant homecoming at the 4th anniversary bash of Provo’s Velour Live Music Gallery, and went on to appear at this year’s SXSW (South By Southwest) Conference last month.
